ELEGANCE AT THE CASTLE!
Château de Cheverny will host its fourth Hat Festival in May 2024.
This is a unique event in the world of fashion that will bring together top French hat designers to exhibit and show off in a fashion show their hats for men and women.
An exhibition-demonstration will be taking place in the stables. This will be the opportunity to watch the milliners at work.
Highlight of the festival: the hat fashion show*, which always promises to surprise. Straw, sisal, buntal, feathers, flowers and so many more materials are creatively used by the milliners, particularly on the theme of the Olympic Games.
“The Château de Cheverny hat festival is the only one where feminine and masculine hats take part! This event, which goes hand-in-hand with elegance and refinement, will give everyone the opportunity to enter a luxury universe and to adopt it for a weekend. We are proud to support French elegance. A prestigious judging panel including fashion professionals will award the following prizes:
- Elegance prize
- Know-how prize
- Originality prize
- "Games" prize, themed prize of the year in honour of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
- Château de Cheverny Prize.

Adults who turn up wearing a decorative hat to the fashion show will enjoy a preferential price.
